| The apartment is on a small complex of approximately 62 properties and is situated in Los Alltos/Villamartin area, a quiet residential area within 5 minutes walk of shops, bars and restaurants. It is just short 5 minutes drive to the Villamartin Plaza which boasts a large selection of bars, restaurants and shops catering for most tastes and budgets. | |
Accommodation
This newly built apartment, is situated on the ground floor with it’s own front garden and an enclosed rear courtyard. It is tastefully furnished to a very high specification throughout comprising of 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom and lounge/diner with kitchen area. Also benefits from hot/cold air conditioning and a secure underground parking space with a lockable storage room in the car park.

There is a wonderful swimming pool with child’s pool in the centre of the development which forms the hub of this small community. A number of the properties are permanently occupied by ex-pats making local information readily available and a very friendly environment. Although certainly not isolated, we do recommend car hire to make full advantage of all the local area and it’s amenities. The apartment caters for 4 people dining. We have given you the advantage of an extra sofa bed and king size which converts to singles to allow you more flexible sleeping arrangements. |

Local Area
This area is regarded as one of the best on the Costa Blanca with an average of 320 days sun each year and miles of beautiful white sandy beaches this is an all year round holiday destination. The area has large salt lakes and nature reserves with an abundance of bird and wildlife. The salt lakes combined with such favourable weather, creates a micro climate, making this one of the healthiest places in the world to live.
Beaches
This area of the costa blanca benefits from many glorious beaches of fine sand and warm water such as La Zenia, Guardamar, La Mata, Playa Flamenca, Los Locos, El Cura and Lo Ferris to name but a few. The majority of the beaches in the area have been awarded “blue flag” status which reflects their superb quality. All beaches are local to properties.

Golf
The area boasts many fine golf courses. There are 3 championship golf courses within 1 ½ miles of the apartment these being Las Ramblas, Campoamar and Villamartin and a little further away, within 15 minutes, you have La Finca, La Marquesa and Quesada. You also have the world famous golf resort of La Manga with it’s three eighteen hole courses to choose from which is a mere 30 minutes drive.
No need to bring your clubs as you can hire them at the courses. In addition you can also hire electric buggies. The courses all have eighteen holes, putting and chipping greens and practice areas. There are also cafeterias/restaurants where you can unwind with something to eat and drink after your round. Please note most have a strict dress code and some require a handicap card to play.

Shopping
You will find a small selection of bars and restaurants within a 5 minute walk of the apartment and the Mercadona supermarket is just a short 2 minute drive away.
The impressive Villamartin plaza is just 5 minutes drive away and has everything you would expect from a bustling tourist area with Tapas bars, restaurants with local and international cuisine, supermarkets, banks, doctors and chemists. For those of you who long for your home comforts you will even find fish and chips shops and restaurants serving the traditional Sunday roast.
The large bustling town of Torrevieja is a short drive away with its lovely marina and seaside promenade lined with bars and restaurants and also boasts a wealth of local and international shops. There is also the beautiful town square with its historic church and town hall.
A spanish market can be found in a different town most days of the week where you can buy an abundance of local produce.

You have a choice of two Water Parks. One located in Quesada and the other, Aquopolies, located in nearby Torrevieja.
A great day can also be had at Rio Safari park located on the Elche-Santa Pola road. The park has a wide variety of animals and a dolphinarium as well as swimming pools and waterslides.
Within 15 minutes drive you will find a wealth of activities to keep you amused including sailing, water skiing, boat hire, wind surfing, fishing, walking, cycling, horse riding, golf, tennis, a sport centre, scuba diving, historic sites, museums, a zoo, theatre and cinema. There is also a fun fair by the Torrevieja marina throughout the summer months.
Within 45 minutes drive you will find climbing, flying and mountain biking.
Terramitica one of Europe’s largest Theme Parks is situated further up the coast near Benidorm which is a fantastic day out for all ages. For more information click here.
Location/how to get there
Fly to Alicante or Murcia both with a short 25-40 min drive to the apartment. We can arrange collection to and from the airport if necessary (charged locally).

On arrival at the airport – before you collect your luggage – please call Compass Property Services on 0034 666 290575. They will arrange to meet you at the apartment with the keys for your hand over meeting.

Directions from Alicante Airport
Drive out of the car park.
Turn right and left at the first junction, take the A7 signed Cartegena.
After 20 minutes exit right onto the AP7 signed Torrevieja. Take the exit
marked La Zenia. There is a small toll to pay of approx 3 Euros. On exiting
the toll booth take the last exit at the roundabout and go back over the
AP7.
Go straight following signs for Villamartin.
Drive through VillaMartin and turn left at the T junction.
Follow the road through the golf course. At the T junction, turn left and
follow the wide road past shops on both sides. The road then bends right,
take the next left just before a rise in the road.
Marbella Golf is the second development on the right.
Directions Murcia Airport
Leave Murcia airport carpark.
At first roundabout go straight ahead
At second roundabout take 1st exit N332 San Pedro.
Follow this road for about 15 minutes depending on traffic!
You will pass through San Pedro and Pilar de la Horrarda. Directly after
going under bridge take the slip road right up and over bridge.
Take first left, in front of “Brico Todo”.
Follow this road past the golf course arches and over the canal. Keep on
this road.
When you approach the roundabout near supermarket “Mercadona” take the
2nd exit.
After the bend turn sharp right. The apartments can be found on the right.
